Suitable Applications
for WAVASORB™ VHP Series

Solid-structured pyramidal microwave absorbers made of conductive carbon-loaded urethane foam, delivering high absorption performance from 100 MHz to 500 GHz. They are in compliance with fire resistance and environmental standards (REACH/RoHS), and compatible with high-power continuous waves. Ideal for applications including RF anechoic chambers, antenna testing, RCS evaluation, electronic warfare testing, OTA testing, and more.

  • Frequency range: 100 MHz to 500 GHz (high-frequency compatible with the outdoor version VHP-OD as well)
  • Absorption performance: Reflection loss of approximately 20 to 55 dB at normal incidence.
  • Size: Standard module width (footprint): 61 cm × 61 cm
  • Material: Carbon-loaded urethane foam

Suitable Applications
for WAVASORB™ VHP-FL Series

Walkable carbon-loaded urethane foam microwave absorbers featuring a robust 200 kg/m² load capacity and ESD-preventive coating. These absorbers maintain superior RF absorption even at incident angles up to 45°, ensuring both stability and safety for anechoic chamber floors. Ideal for antenna testing, RCS measurements, electronic warfare testing, OTA testing, and more.

  • Frequency range: 1.35 GHz to 9 GHz (*Support for higher frequencies is also available)
  • Absorption performance: Reflection loss of approx. 10 to 15 dB at 1 to 3 GHz, and 20 to 25 dB at 3 to 9 GHz. The reflectance in the high-frequency range is approximately 25 dB.
  • Size: Standard footprint: 122 cm × 61 cm
  • Material: Low-density polyurethane foam with carbon (carbon-loaded urethane foam)
